Cristian Liu, MBA

Cristian Liu is a consultant based out of Seattle with a focus in healthcare innovation, particularly in digital health and value based care (care redesign & payment reform). Prior to consulting, Cristian served with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Chief Technology Officer’s team. There, he helped lead the Community Health Data Initiative and the Health Data Consortium’s “HealthDataPalooza” forum in support of the Affordable Care Act and served as the program manager of HealthData.gov. Cristian has spoken on applications of public health data toward healthcare innovation & digital health at various industry conferences and events.

Cristian has experience in international business and healthcare across a variety of functions including corporate strategy, venture capital, entrepreneurship, nonprofit, and public policy. He has successfully led high-impact projects across North America, South America, Africa, and Asia.

Cristian received his MBA and Graduate Certificate in Technology Commercialization from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and his Bachelors of Science in Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. He has also completed an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University’s Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership.
