Is AI and Healthcare open access?

Yes! AI and Healthcare is an open access journal. Forthcoming volumes will free to read, unrestricted, and online. AI and Healthcare believes that increased information access, especially in healthcare, increases the pace of sustained innovation.

Does AI and Healthcare charge publication fees?

No. At this time, AI and Healthcare does not charge publication fees. Our current funding all enables to maintain this policy for the foreseeable future.

Will AI and Healthcare participate in journal indexing services? If so, when?

Yes! Over the years, many other popular indexation services have developed. These include Google Scholar, MedLine, PubMed, EMBASE, SCOPUS, EBSCO Publishing’s Electronic Databases, and SCIRUS among others. 

AI and Healthcare intends to pursue participation in indexation services as quickly as possible given the admission standards set for by these services.

The timeline for participation will depend on the admission requirements for the specific service. We anticipate participation in Google Scholar and potentially other services by year-end 2019.
